Happy birthday Leo

Leo turned one today everyone! My little boy is not so much a little boy anymore! Yeah yeah I know he's just a puppy and not a real baby or anything, but he is the first addition to mine and Jarrett's family, so I want to make a big deal out of his birthday. Leo is our only baby until we have a real baby, so he gets all the attention for now. I mean look at that face! Don't judge me! Ha! I actually did Leo's birthday yesterday while my mom was still here. Jarrett and I were able to Skype while I gave him his presents too so that was fun and entertaining! I got him gourmet cupcakes, a birthday boy bandanna and a couple new toys. I gave him and Sophie each a cupcake and I guess it was too rich for Leo because he threw it up later. Whoops! I guess I will have to give it to him in little pieces next time. Anyways, I can't believe he is already a year old. It seems like just yesterday Jarrett and I brought him home. He fit in the palm of my hand then and I now I can barely pick him up with one hand. My how time flys when you've got the cutest and sweetest puppy in the world!
